Excellent bit of kit & customer service
We bought this extractor to replace an aging Plymovent machine that failed the LEV test. In order to meet the recommended criteria in the HSE bulletin of February 2019, we needed a machine that had the minimum features required but also pass a very stringent in house LEV department testing regime. After a lengthy comparison process, we decided that the MasterWeld MW1900 was the best machine for us being within our budget and the ongoing costs (filters etc) were very good. The extractor had to be tested by our LEV department before first use and they were sceptical given the cost of the machine and the claims made by the sales department. Well, they were blown away with how good this unit is!! It flew through the tests and surpassed the data and claims given by MasterWeld. The only thing that has taken us time to get use to is the 30 degree either side of centre use for the extraction hood when positioning. It is easy to topple the machine if you try to adjust the arm outside of that arc, but this is clearly pointed out in the instructions.
The service we have received from the sales department was excellent, they were very patient with our questions and queries, and they are very quick to respond.
