Moisture is a major consideration when storing welding consumables. Exposure to unsuitable storage conditions can affect moisture-sensitive welding electrodes and other consumables, potentially contributing to welding quality problems and unnecessary material waste.
The MasterWeld® Welding Consumable Storage Cupboard provides a dedicated heated storage environment, helping operators manage storage conditions rather than leaving consumables exposed to fluctuating workshop temperatures.
With digitally adjustable temperature control up to 40°C, operators can select a suitable storage temperature in accordance with the consumable manufacturer's recommendations.
A particularly useful feature is the digital humidity display, which shows the relative humidity percentage inside the cupboard. This allows operators to monitor moisture conditions and identify when the storage environment may require attention.
For welding operations where consumable condition is important, the combination of adjustable temperature control and visible humidity monitoring provides greater awareness of storage conditions than ordinary workshop shelving or unheated cabinets.
Three internal shelves also allow different welding consumables, classifications and batches to be organised within the cupboard, helping maintain an orderly and practical consumable storage area.
