MasterWeld® MWR-200H Stationary Welding Rod Oven – 200kg, 110V/240V/380V, 500°C
British-Made High-Temperature Welding Rod Drying & Baking Oven | 200kg Capacity | Digital Temperature Control up to 500°C | Choice of 110V, 240V or 380V AC
The MasterWeld® MWR-200H Stationary Welding Rod Oven is a British-manufactured, high-capacity industrial welding electrode drying and baking oven, combining a substantial 200kg electrode capacity with digital temperature control up to 500°C.
Designed for demanding fabrication workshops, heavy engineering facilities and industrial welding environments, the MWR-200H provides controlled heating for welding electrode drying, baking and holding applications, helping minimise moisture absorption and maintain electrode condition.
With its maximum operating temperature of 500°C, the MWR-200H is particularly suitable for specialist welding operations requiring elevated electrode conditioning temperatures, subject to the electrode manufacturer's recommended procedures.
The oven incorporates an electronic digital temperature controller, allowing operators to adjust and monitor the selected operating temperature. Its high-capacity design makes it a practical solution for fabrication facilities handling larger quantities of welding electrodes.
Calibration is included as standard, supporting industrial welding operations where documented temperature verification is important.
The MWR-200H is available in three separate electrical configurations: 110V, 240V and 380V AC, allowing customers to select the version appropriate for their electrical installation.

Available Voltage Options
The MasterWeld® MWR-200H is available in three separate electrical configurations:
110V AC Version
Suitable for industrial installations and site environments equipped with a compatible 110V electrical supply of sufficient capacity.
240V AC Version
Suitable for fabrication workshops, engineering facilities and industrial installations equipped with a compatible 240V electrical supply.
380V AC Version
Designed for industrial installations with a compatible 380V electrical supply, subject to the manufacturer's electrical connection requirements.
Please select the required voltage when ordering. The MWR-200H is supplied in the selected electrical configuration and is not a switchable multi-voltage oven.
Electrical installation must be carried out using a suitably rated supply and connection. The heating power rating and electrical requirements should be confirmed for the selected voltage version.
Typical Applications
- Heavy engineering and fabrication workshops
- Structural steel fabrication
- Industrial welding and manufacturing facilities
- Pipework and pressure vessel fabrication
- High-temperature electrode drying and baking
- Low-hydrogen welding electrode conditioning, where appropriate
- Industrial maintenance and repair
- Large-scale welding operations requiring high-capacity electrode storage and conditioning
Why Choose the MasterWeld® MWR-200H?
The MWR-200H combines a substantial 200kg electrode capacity with a 500°C maximum operating temperature, making it a practical choice for industrial welding applications requiring both increased electrode capacity and elevated drying and baking temperatures.
Its digital temperature controller provides convenient temperature adjustment and monitoring, while calibration included as standard supports professional fabrication environments where documented temperature verification is important.
Compared with the MasterWeld® MWR-150H, which offers a 150kg capacity and the same 500°C maximum operating temperature, the MWR-200H provides an additional 50kg of electrode capacity for larger welding operations.
The availability of 110V, 240V and 380V versions also provides a choice of electrical configurations for different industrial installations.
