MasterWeld Corten (ER80S-G) NiCu TIG Welding Rods
MasterWeld Corten TIG Filler wire is a specialist low alloy copper-coated TIG filler wire for welding of weathering steels often known as Corten steel. MasterWeld Corten offers excellent resistance to atmospherical corrosion, due to the controlled level of Cu, Cr and Ni.
Welding Application
Weather resistant steel usually contains 0,5% copper that creates a layer on the surface that prevents further oxidation which makes it weather resistant. MasterWeld Corten welding wire also contains this addition of copper to offer the same properties for the weld seam and increases also slightly the mechanical values.
