We're welding HE30 aluminium, which TIG filler wire do we need?
HE30 is type 6082. It is very common and crops up all of the time. The filler metal that is widely applied is MW 4043, which is available in a large variety of sizes below.
Welding Tips & Techniques
Usually, it is preferred to use one diameter larger than anticipated so that more filler metal is used and thus there is less dilution and better ductility to cope with residual stress.
