JAP is a solvent removable liquid dye penetrant with a deep red colouring for use in all penetrant testing processes. This product uses a Hydrocarbon carrier fluid with additives to give a high level of inspection integrity and increase the 'searching' properties of the dye. JAP should be always applied to clean, grease free components and any surface coatings should be removed prior to the welding inspection.
