SafraBraze® SAB-56 1.5mm Flux Coated Silver Brazing Rod - Cadmium Free
SafraBraze® SAB-56 1.5mm flux coated silver brazing rod is a premium 56% silver, cadmium-free brazing alloy supplied with an integral flux coating.
The 1.5mm diameter provides excellent filler metal control, making it ideal for fine to medium-duty hand brazing applications.
The flux coating helps simplify the brazing process by reducing the need to apply separate flux in many applications. This makes it a convenient choice for refrigeration, HVAC, maintenance, repair, installation and precision fabrication work.

Brazing Guidance
Ensure all joint surfaces are clean, grease-free and correctly fitted before brazing. The flux coating assists the brazing process,
but additional flux may still be required for larger joints, prolonged heating cycles or more demanding applications.
Apply heat evenly to the parent materials rather than directly melting the rod with the flame. Once the joint area reaches brazing temperature,
the alloy should flow into the joint by capillary action.
Safety Information
Always braze in a well-ventilated area and use suitable personal protective equipment. Avoid breathing fumes from the brazing process
or flux coating. Refer to the relevant Safety Data Sheet before use.
